Try "only" way.  The one NuBus modem I've ever seen was 2400bps.

Uh-huh.  Without doing some very severe re-engineering of the chassis,
there's no way you'll ever get a CD-ROM inside it.

280MB will be fine; anything over 2 GB is what you'll want to watch out for.
