I run a little IRC channel on dalnet called #appleII, and there's a fellow comes in 3-4 times a week that says he's using an Apple //e. Pretty sure he uses some sort of comm software to (maybe?) telnet to his Mac and then to the IRC server. Sorry for the lack of details. I plan on giving it a try someday, and when that happens I'll ask him for the details.
