I have an external Compaq 2x cdrom that worked on a IIsi, once upon a time. The IIsi is now long gone and I can't get the drive to work on a IIci (or any of my compact macs). It works fine on a unix box, and is detected by scsiprobe and silverlining, however it won't mount any cd's, either mac or iso9660. I have the Apple CDROM Extension and the ISO9660 extension. Do I need a specific extension/driver for the Compaq? The IIci is running system 7.5.
