In trying to resolve one issue I've come across a couple of items that I
can't solve and hope that someone on the list has been able to.

        1. Mac IIsi 17MB RAM 80MB HD w/external 700MB HD
I've done a couple of CLEAN INSTALLS using the MacOS CD for 7.6 and a
MacAddict disk that included the 7.6.1 upgrade.

New (2001) software, that claims it can be run on ANY Mac w/at
least 7.6, doesn't.
First, it claimed that I need a couple of extensions (which I found on the
external) and then told me that I needed "Translations" - which, using Tome
Viewer, could not be found anywhere!

The question: has anyone ever heard of this OS (7.6 or 7.6.1)
lacking in ANY of the basic components that may have existed in the
previous OSs? (7.5, etc.).

        2. Same situation, however I'm getting an error code "-192" that
indicates there is a Resource Manager problem.

If you saw similar difficulties posted on these topics (they were on my
PM7100/66 w/8.1) on the 1ST PM list, that will have to wait until I get that
machine back from the shop, as I lost 8.1 and use of the CPU.

Thanks in advance,

Ken Ring
