I popped the LC 575 board into a 520. Same error about 7.1, so I believe
that they have done the Resedit hacks, as the OS on the hard drive of the
machine is 7.6.1. It booted up fine with the 7.5 boot disk--no bus error.

The hardest part about this one is going to be figuring out what this kid
did and at what point he gave up. I've downloaded the Resedit hacks
mentioned in the FAQ. I'll put this all on a floppy, along with Resedit
and see what's been done. I should be able to copy over a useable 7.1
system folder and will go on from there.

I can just hear that kid, "The FAQ made it sound easy, but they don't tell
you what to do when you screw up!!" *grin*!
