Got access to a PC with a SCSI controller? FDISK sees HFS and HFS+ hard drives as completely empty. Create a single FAT partition then reboot to DOS mode and format it. The you can simply initialize it on the Mac. :) Before you try that, try Apple's Drive Setup instead of HDSC.
