Depends on the card, but I think our esteemed Phil Beesley has some
information on the Orange Micro 286-based cards on his WWW site.

Generally, they allowed you to boot DOS either in a window or in
full-screen mode, and you could use it just like any other PC.  They were
entire computers on a NuBus card, basically, often with a PC parallel port
to hook up a PC printer as well.

They're not emulation, but as with any 386, they *are* a bit on the slow
side :)
