Which is why it is interesting. Of a kettle of fish all but one is a red herring. That's what I love about troubleshooting. There's a lot going on with this particular problem. If it was a pure MacOS case, the reaction would be simple: nuke and pave and start over. But the element of netBSD complicates that option. That's why these threads interest me.
