Get ResEdit. Once you have it, use the "Get Info" feature in the "File" menu. An Open dialog box should appear that includes hidden files. Open your MacTCP file. There should be an 'Invisible" checkbox somewhere in the info window that appears. ResEdit 2.1.3 (The latest version, development stopped in 1994) is available at: http://www.resexcellence.com/support_files/resedit.shtml I think it's also available at the Apple FTP site. BTW: ResEdit works without problems in recent Mac OS's like OS 8 and 9, even though it hasn't been updated in 8 years.
