Please keep in mind that I am of the PPC generation, and this is my
first vintage Mac...

My company was getting rid of some old hardware, and I rescued a IIfx.
It was in pieces, so I connected the 160 MB HD, and (finally) found a
NuBus Video card for it. I hooked everything up, plugged it in, and
got a "ding", followed by a little scale. I have never heard that
before, so I thought it was just an old Mac thing. Then I sat and sat
waiting for the video to come up and for any of the drives to start
working, and... nothing! Now I think that the little song that it
sang has something to do with it not booting.

Any ideas? Anyone?
