Gamba has a section on it here: http://home.earthlink.net/~gamba2/71more.html And I'm working on my own System 7.1-specific site myself, though I've been delayed and it doesn't have anything useful on it as yet. The only real modification to Gamba's notes there is I put the Appearance stuff from 8.1 in there to make it look like 8.0-9.2.2 and I resedit the icons from 8.1 into 7.1 to get the icons. Even with all my addons it still only takes about 3 megs of RAM at boot. Generally speaking, just about anything 68k compatible will/would work. Netscape 4.08 claims to require 7.6, but if you put the CFM 68k Enabler dealy in there yourself it'll run fine. I also run Appleworks 5 and IE 4 with no problems. There are some things that give system version errors and refuse to run, though I think they would. No major app I've tried hasn't worked though.
