That's what I thought too.

I assume that a Mac of that vintage cannot automatically detect slower RAM.

I second that.  It's just easier to get the faster RAM and not wonder
which crashes were RAM speed related.

There are a lot more than just him.

I've actually bought from him twice, and the deal was fine.

He is a jerk though.  Never answers email or anything.
