Some Mac IIci's and si's had their ROMs on a separate card instead of on the
motherboard. If your IIci works without one, then it does not need this card
and will probably not work with the card inserted. The only difference is
that IIci's with the card won't work without it; performance and other
aspects should be the same. The only computer that can be "improved" by
adding a ROM card is the SE/30, which becomes 32-bit clean with a IIsi's ROM
installed.
