Most likely nothing, unless the DIP ROM chips are missing. ;) > Also, How can I tell if I have a parity or > non-parity motherboard? With the lid off and the front of the IIci towards you, look to the left of the SIMM slots for a small square of silver solder bumps. If that spot is empty you can use either parity or non parity SIMMs. If you don't see any empty square, you'll need parity SIMMs. > I think I > also read somewhere that > the IIci uses Bank A for video RAM and you should > put the smallest size > SIMMs there. Can anyone confirm that? Yes, that's true. I dunno how much difference it actually makes though. The IIsi has basically the same RAM setup as the IIci, but its Bank A is soldered and fixed at 1meg. There is a IIsi RAM Muncher INIT that fills up all of the 1meg not used by the video buffer. Thus it improves performance by ensuring that no code which needs CPU attention is in there. Doesn't work on the IIci though. ===== "I'm sorry, but you can't list fish as 'durable goods' in your GDP statement."
