Once I put an oscillator back in my IIsi, I can install 7.1 on it, then I can give it a try. That is, assuming 7.1 will support Ethernet and this network card (it's an Asante NuBUS.) I had trouble getting any sort of TCP/IP set up with 7.1 before.
