i am stymied by a card someone is selling. i think it will go in one of my IIfx's, but the info given for it seems like they are not familiar with the full specs of it. this is all they could provide by description: "Mint Condition SuperMac GX Nubus card for use with beige Macs (any Mac with a NUBUS card, which includes most beige Macs). Installer disk is included. Increases the graphics 10 fold, and is for use with SuperMac series monitors. I am not sure what the connector is called, but it worked with my SuperMac 16 inch monitor. "
I googled for this and didnt find this specific title. i kept running into 'thunder', 'thunder II' thunder IV' added into the name. someone explain this to me? is this a thunder card and the seller just doesnt know it? or is there a supermac GX card that isn't a 'thunder' card? and does this HAVE To be used with a supermac monitor? will it work on a Mac monitor? I have a multiscan 14, a 15, and three smaller color monitors. the card comes with one floppie of software to go with it. someone clear this up? [I am hankering for a card to put in my IIFx that does 24 bit color at as many res's as possible. you know my monitor options] janet http://community.webtv.net/mensabrains/BADCODE -- Vintage Macs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
