Hi, Thanks for the help with the PRAMM battery prob. :-) Now, I took the PRAMM battery out of my colour classic (Until I get out to maplins) and put it in the LC475 to see what state it was in. The screen lit up, then blinking question mark. I knew what this meant, no system. But when I inserted mt OS7.1 install floppy in it spat it out and continued blinking. It them came to me to set my CD drive to SCSI ID 0 and try to boot of my OS7.6.1 cd. It worked! But... It says that the hard drive is unreadable and do I want to format it. I have data on that, that I don't really want to loose. Have I allready lost it and it's time to move on? can it be saved? And why does it say that to every floppy I put in?
I am REALLY stumped on this. I have had system probs before but not like this. Thanks, Dan _________________________________________________________________ Add photos to your e-mail with MSN 8.
