Yeah, this IS a frustration. If your floppy drive won't work, and you can't
make a CD boot, the really elegant cure is to use an external hard drive to
boot
with, setting its ID to 6. I use an LC as an external hard drive, with the
cable from a junked external CD ROM. This is a great way to overcome the
"hard-disk-won't-boot, floppy-drive-won't-read" syndrome.

Can't use a IIci to install, but you CAN use it to wipe. There are Enablers
needed by the CC that installing inside the IIci won't add.
