It's easy. Simply get both drives working then drag
the icon of the old drive onto the new drive.

Everything will be copied into a folder on the new
drive. That folder will have the same name as the
old drive, plus there will be a Desktop Folder inside
the drive named folder. Open the new drive then
move everything _except_ Desktop Folder out of the
folder with the old drive's name to the "root level"
which is the first window you see when you double
click a drve icon.

Now shut down, disconnect the old drive, set the new
drive to SCSI ID# 0 and enable its termination. Boot
up and move everything from that Desktop Folder
out to the desktop. Now you can trash the folder
with the old drive's name.

Your aliases will (should) still work.
