greetings. a few years back, i procured a Mac IIfx with 64MB RAM and 2 internal HDs. couldn't pass-up the notion of buying a $10K computer for $150. it has 2 nubus cards:
- e-machines video (i forget the model) - farallon phonenet EN network card the network card... is it innately supported by the OS, or do i need to get some drivers for that? is it ethernet? if so, i'm assuming 10Mbps. is IP part of the Mac OS? i'm guessing that's true at a certain level. what i'd like to do is set it up as a web server or something useful. i forget the level of OS installed, but think it's at least 7.0. christopher -- Vintage Macs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
