Most likely has some component going bad in it.
Probably an easy fix for someone who knows monitor and
TV repair really well. If you happen to live somewhere
in the Boise, ID to Ontario, OR area, I know a guy
who has 50+ years of electronics repair experience
and works cheap. He's retired and does it to keep
busy. :)

But if you don't live around here, check the phone
book for electronics repair. If all else fails, call
some TV repair shops. Some TV techs can also handle
working on computer monitors even though stuff like
scan rates are different from TVs.

'Course your monitor could continue to work for years
like that.
