I have my IIci, using 7.5.3 with 32 megs, connected to a router, not a hub, which is connected to a cable modem via ethernet cable. I have 2 other computers attached to the router: A SE/30 and a S900 G4. As others have said, you need OpenTransport. You'll need to download versions 1.1.1 and 1.1.2, installing and upgrading them in version order, to enable DHCP in TC/IP. You should also download the current 68k version of iCab which is a very fast browser and has all the components you need to surf. The info to do this came from Gamba and Pickle and others on this list.
