I want a SCSI CD-RW drive so that when I use Basilisk 2 to make up HFS image files I can burn them to temporary discs with my PC then use the SCSI drive in an external case connected to Macs to read the discs. I'd also like a normal SCSI CD-ROM that can read RW discs to install inside my 7300. The CD-RW external would see duty with my 7300 and Power IIci, and any other Mac I get in the future with SCSI. > Find a secondhand quad-speed write-once drive and go > and make a nice cup of tea whilst you burn disks :) I have two Panasonic 7502 4x SCSI burners. They're OK but don't do RW and don't have any form of buffer underrun recovery. Nor can they read CD-RW. ===== "When you are wrestling for possession of a sword, the man with the handle always wins."
