This is a great question because there are lots of old cheap macs around that if they could be yoked together you could do some near super computing level projects. One that jumps to mind, now that storage is cheap, is taking all of Gutenberg files to date and doing sweeps for folks. You could even charge a nominal fee. More for organizations.
