Find out which ROM revision the video card has. There was 1.0 and 1.1. 1.0 is buggy and you'll find more of the Radius version with it than you will on the 24AC. AFAIK, if you have a 24AC with ROM 1.0 then it's a test or developer unit that wasn't returned to Apple as it should have been. What you could do is get a male and a female DB15 connector and a metal double ended shell to hold them then look up the sense pin wiring, for which you'll need some diodes, and wire up this adaptor to fool the Mac into thinking the older monitor is attached. For NuBus video cards that don't directly support the newer multi-frequency monitors, they depend on how some pins in the connector are connected to determine the capabilities of the monitor. In the event that none of the right pins are connected at all, the card assumes there's no monitor connected and you get no video. ===== Say hello to Juror #49. Yep, I'm on jury duty until the end of March. Gotta call in each weekend. Fun. __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! SiteBuilder - Free web site building tool.
