Oddly enough, my copy came from a Kmart BlueLight.com CD. When I ran it in
"winfile" mode it became easy to override the installer's attempt at
highjacking that old P.C. and going right to the I.E. 5 folder. Bear in mind
that my 486SLC is running Windows 3.11.

And again, as in my other recent email, I misspoke about I.E. 4 for Mac.
It's only for Power Macs. And using the Netscape 4.08 in the "charged" WGS
80 made for an impressive surf.
