Because I like to be SURE, I went out and pulled out a WGS 80 (Quadra 800) .

It got a replacement 2 gig SCSI disk that once lived as a Compaq drive. It
got 90 MB of RAM as well. AND I pulled out a cd of Netscape 4.08 installer
and gave it a go.

With all that RAM on that Mac the Netscape 4.08 was most impressive. It was
then that I discovered that I'd misspoken about I.E. 4. It's only for
PowerMacs.
