I have used it many times and have had no problems.
With the Plus, make sure that all FIVE screws are removed. I have struggled for many minutes and then discovered that I forgot the screw in the battery compartment. Then, I put one screw back in the handle hole, screw it in about half way, and using the long torx driver, hold the computer an inch or so in the air over a towel, and press on the screw.
