Hi,

I have just picked up a Quadra 660AV.

It works great, but only boots the second time I turn the power on. The first time I power it on I hear the hard disk spin up, but it never gets to the grey boot screen. The second time everything spins up and then it boots. Once booted it works flawlessly, it also complains about the clock settings so I was thinking that this was a dead battery, but I didn't expect it to not boot on the first power up just because of the battery.

Can anyone tell me if this is normal on a machine with a dead battery?

Thanks,

Andrew McCall
