Any advice? Has bill gone shitty and changed my settings?

Shitty John? This isn't the outback list we must watch our p's n q's. :)

Check your character set is set to ISO-8859-1 in your email client.

In Mozilla it would be under the drop menu 'Options/Character encoding/-list of installed character sets.

ISO-8859-1 is easy for everybody.

The character set may have been changed after installing or upgrading email clients or changing your default client.

Mozilla 1.3 for OS8.6-9.2.2 is available, off topic for this list so I wont post the link. ;)
