The 68040 is a 68k CPU, so it's not going to work with
[EMAIL PROTECTED]

There is a team running it (or they were) on nothing
but Powermac 6100's. The 60Mhz can just barely process
a unit in the minimum time. The 66Mhz makes it with
a bit more time to spare.

I dunno if there's a Pentium 60/66 SETI team, but I
know those original Pentiums can do a [EMAIL PROTECTED] unit
in around the same time as the 60/66 Mhz 6100.

What'd be the neat trick is to try it on a IIci with
the 100Mhz Daystar Turbo 601.
