Thanks to everyone thus far for their help. However, every darn time I try to run this installer (have tried the various iterations of it) the instatller hangs or begins to loop through requesting the "AsanteFAST Installer Disk" which I dont have. If I wasnt completely broke right now I would just buy some other Ethernet card...
Does anyone have just the simple CDEV and extension required? I wish someone would try running the installer and seeing what they get. I have tried repeatedly. Is there any chance that it doesnt like the SWIM from my IIfx that I am trying to get it to work upon? Thanks Again, [w] ftp://ftp.asante.com/drivers/10-100_Cards/AsanteFast/10-100_Nubus/AsantFAST_NB%20%20Installer.img > > > > can anyone confirm that this image is intact? > > Here's the Mac installer for 10/100 Asante NuBus NICs. > <http://techinfo.asante.com/pdfs/Adapters-100TX-Gig/afnubus1_0.sea.hqx> > > Most Mac web browsers can be configured to > automatically decode the BinHex (.hqx) and MacBinary > (.bin) encodings as files are downloaded. > > As for the one on the FTP site, > it's a 321K download, so it's most likely a compressed > Disk Copy image.
