Does anyone on the list know of a way that I can view a checksum in order to
compare backups in System 6 or System 7?

I am a musician and I have lots of old samplers and I am trying to get my
samples of audio archived in various ways and they m u s t be intact. I prefer
not to go through the intermediate step of creating a disk image somewhere for
comparison, I would like to view it directly in the finder through an
extension- or some really compact application that I could run as an apple menu
item (just my fantasy).
