I suspect that you may have more luck on the Apple ][ list, as the Mac (with the exception, I believe, of the 5.25" disk for the Apple][ card for the LC I, II, III or so) doesn't support the 5.25" drive.
The A9M0107 is the drive I got with my old Apple IIgs. It works with that machine and the Apple ][ series, with appropriate drive controller cards.
