Hello,

I've just received two MacIIcx's and an si that haven't been used in about 6
years.

I wired them up, and on all I get the infamous question mark disc. I have a
system 7
install set, and even using the HD setup, the hard drive cannot be seen, saying
there
are no SCSI devices found.

My question is, is it typical for the hard drives to freeze up after an
extended down
time?

What's the best method of getting them up and running? Can the discs be spun
during boot-up to get the mechanisms freed up?

Thanks for any help!
