Sounds like the terminator resistors on the
Jackhammer.
On the pictures I've seen, there's three blue resistor
packs. I dunno if they have to be removed or if there
is a jumper to disable them.

If Apple hadn't screwed things up on the NuBus
Powermacs, I could be running one of those with my
Media 100 system. :P
