There were two different extentions or control panels
that would increase the output resolution of a small
number of Apple made NuBus videocards. Neither worked
with the built in video on any Mac. Still wouldn't
boost the 12" RGB to 640x480. There is a hardware
hack to convert the 12" to 640x480. It involves
altering the scanning frequencies and either cutting
off the cable connector and attaching a new one
or making an adapter to connect the correct sense
pins so it's seen as a 13" monitor by the Macintosh.

Quite a bit of effort just to have 640x480 on the
only monitor that fits perfectly with the lines of
the LC pizzaboxes and the IIsi.

It will be total Fandemonium, Summer 2005!
