If you tell me where to snag a copy of Stuffit Expander that is compatible with your LC's OS, I can BinHex (not stuff) it for you, and BinHex 4.0 can be downloaded as a bin file (i.e., it will just plain run in its downloaded form). You'll have to download it (BinHex 4.0 that is) from the LC, though; if you download it using the PC it will not be useful to you.
Another way of acquiring Stuffit is to snag one of those pervasive America Online installation CDs and put AOL on your LC; AOL has a built-in UnStuffing engine. You might need to create an AOL account long enough to email yourself the Stuffit file and then cancel it as soon as you've got Stuffit set up.
Or you can get a Mac user to put Stuffit on floppies in self-extracting form. (I could do that too but it would be easier if you can find someone to work with who doesn't need to mail you floppy disks through the mail and can instead hand them off to you.

I want to add files to my Mac LC 2 via PC. I have a program called TransMac that puts Mac files on a 3.25" floppy. I have to install Stuffit on my Mac using TransMac. But every time I try to copy Stuffit to my Mac I get an error message saying "The Document "STUFFIT151.sit" could not be opened because the application program that created it could not be found.
