Another place the PPC is used is in every TiVo digital video recorder. It's similar to the 603/604 but doesn't have an FPU. A TiVo is similar to an Amiga where the CPU is there as a "director" for other specialized chips that handle the video and audio tasks. Also interesting is TiVo runs a customized PowerPC Linux.
