the classic client still works as long as you already have an account with them and and a copy of the software; http://setiathome2.ssl.berkeley.edu/index.html (note as of this wrtiting the 'work unit' server is acting up [what else is new] so i cant say if its been taken down or is just acting up... but there are -many- users still using classic that i doubt will switch because boinc is an absolute mess....)
