Right-O, Phil, the serial number,

240361 T, indicates it is a 24 ft Trade Wind, made in 1960, and a 361
sequence number, which might indicate it was made late in 1960.
Possibly then sold in 1961 and registered as such. Sometimes if you
have the early appliance brochures, or the original Lifetime Guarantee,
it might be dated, or they might be dated to confirm manufacture date.
Sometimes the cabinet shop would write dates and wood type on the
backside of cabinets and drawers, and sometimes you can find electrical
schematics that are dated. I would call it a 1960, but if it has been
in your family for all these years, and you are comfortable with
it,..........then let it be. Your old timey wall heater , might have a
date stamped on it also.

Bill, Hi, this airstream # 240361T is the one you saw at Trish and Rick's
being polished a couple years ago. It originally belonged to my aunt and
uncle from new. All I have ever heard and I believe the title says it is a
61, Could all be wrong and it is a 1960 model? Phil
