Nice try Garnett, with the C for couch.  I searched all the designators
and could not find a "C".  My best guess is that the C indicated
"Caravanner",  or it may have been made in the LA plant in " Cerritos". 
Do you recall if that other Caravanner, supposedly a "1959", had the
Wally name plate and the Pilot wheel?

My 1960 Caravanner has a double bed but the number is 220261C.  It does
have a Couch.....
