This doesn't sound right.  Shouldn't the tow vehicle line to the battery
just be in
addition to the Inteli-Power line to the battery without worrying about
switching?  So
you've got two wires going to each battery terminal.  How do you deal with
all the swiches
and fuses by the battery?  I'd like to eliminate them.
