I acid washed mine -- there are really no apparent
long term effects two doing this right once. you are
taking a little (and I mean very little) aluminum off
the surface and cleaning it up a bit -- I wouldn't do
it every year -- but, once you've polished it up,
who'd want to go that far to re-polish eh?
