Thanks for the input, Randy.  I am glad  to know that this might be a 
workable and not too insane idea.  Even if I did this and decided to sell 
later, it seems to me a steel building would not be hard to sell.  I am 
probably going to be looking in a fairly rural area anyhow, where barns are a 
plus. It also sounds as if it is within by budget.
