The propane Onan works, but if the engine was direct coupled to the
compressor the fuel efficiency would be a little greater and a little
more compact. If the propane was applied to heat and absorption type
refrigerant air conditioner, the noise would be only fans and I think
the propane efficiency greater. And the A/C would be smaller and lighter
than the ac A/C plus Onan. And the pollutants would be significantly
smaller.
