Dr J., according to some of the links to Propane powered Air Conditioning systems, it is supposedly more efficient to own a propane Air Cond, than an electric compressor, freon type. The OPA seems to think propane Air Cond is better than electric. Why aren't all the Air Cond units in Arizona, powered by propane??
