Just waded through 800 e-mails.  I agree with Hans on this one.  Major
Domo lists are different than chat rooms, where quick glib replies are
the norm.  List protocol is: when replying to a thread will be only of
interest to the sende,r or to an earlier replier, please do so off list.
  This includes such things as thanks, personal questions, or asides. 
About 1/4 fell into this category.  It takes time to open, scan & digest
each reply - time taken away from other endeavors.

The other thing I noticed in the 800 posts is that the Subject header
rarely matched the content after a reply or so.  Don't be afraid to
highlight the Subject field on your reply and change it to a better
title starting with -  [VAC] -.

All of the 200 lurkers out there, feel free to share questions,
observations & personal experiences & stories - that's what makes the
list fun and refreshing.
