Bill,
When I brought my 71 LY into Texas, Nov. 98, I had to have it inspected 
before I could get Texas plates.
They checked that the brakes and lights and turn signals worked and gave me 
a window sticker similar to the one I had to get for my car. Couldn't get 
it licensed without it!
