We were at a rally last July when it was hotter'n Billy Hell, and we
had no A/C on our A/S. What we did have was a small 12VDC fan that we
pointed directly at us when we went to bed. It made it survivable, if
not comfortable. And, it draws only a couple or 3 amps, so can be run
from a solar installation.
